Both play latest game and are new cpus
Only small problem is ive got windows 7 32bit so am i right in thinking it will only recognise 4gb of ram and not the 8 the system is supplied with?

Re: new pc AMD or Intel?

The Intel processor will be quicker but not by a huge amount. They have different graphics cards as well so you will need to look at which of those preforms better as well.

Yes a 32bit OS can only handle up to 4Gb of RAM. Once other things have been taken into account you'll have about 3.5GB of usable memory.

Re: new pc AMD or Intel?

Having looked around the amd 7770 is slightly faster that the nvidia gtx 550ti and runs cooler due to 2 immense fans!
The i3 cpu is deemed much quicker than the amd 4100 bulldozer by some 10-20%

negligible really, just a matter of preference
