Hosted forum provider recommendations?
OK,
So this is one of these great projects that I'm not involved in, but at the same time I am involved in.
Need to register a domain, get a host, set up a few web pages and a forum for work.
I'd like to choose a provider who offer a package including a pre-configured forum, because it's not me who's going to be maintaining it or even setting it up.
Also I need to use something like Rentacoder for the set up and design.
Anybody able to recommend a host and a service to set it up?
Also, what about the forum software? Looking on godaddy there's a package with PHPBB included but it looks far to vunerable to spam...

UKWSD is who I use. It comes with phpbb, and yes it would need to be monitored for spam, though there are almost certainly plugins to help.
I thought rentacoder was just to hire a developer for certain projects?

Yeah - I need to spec it, but I'm not to work on it 
TBH, it's prob gonna take me longer to spec it than it would take to set up the damn forum, but that's just the way it is
