How far I have come

Do you remember years ago when I first registered with this forum? I was constantly asking questions about computer problems. From email problems to router problems and general problems with various programmes. The biggest one I used to pester you all with were my websites. First the church website which was hosted on my blueyonder webspace and then my tiara website on 123 reg.  I was always looking for wee tips and advice on making the website look more professional and getting the odd wee bit of coding to help improve it.
Well these days I dont seem to need as much advice but I think that is down to all the help that I have had on here over the years. I have recently overhauled both my tiara website and church website and I now use a template on both woohoo big_smile I have also made a 3 page website for a friend business!
Any way the purpose of the post is to say thank you to those that have helped me and for always being so patient with me.

If you are interested to see the new and updated websites the links are as follows

www.dizatiaras.co.uk

www.shctk.co.uk

www.lesfleurs.co.uk

Thanks guys

Re: How far I have come

You are well ahead of me as the nearest thing to a website I have was done in Word years ago and left mouldering ever since.  Once people get over their initial nervousness they always surprise themselves with what they can achieve and a pleasant surprise is a nice change these days. smile

Re: How far I have come

The first time I attempted a website for the church I used microsoft word. I was determined to to learn. I am naturally a creative person and to me building a website was just another form creativity. I know there is loads of stuff to learn about building a website and the phrases that come to mind are dynamic ASP and PHP script.....both are totally meaningless to me and I doubt at my age that I will ever have the chance to learn but the fact that the websites are created using a simple wysiwyg programme is a great achievement to me.
