Server sides

Have virgin disabled server sides?

According to the virgin help pages they are enabled, although I believe somewhere it says for Blueyonder customers only.

http://www.virginmedia.com/help/webspac … cludes.php
However they do not seem to work

I tried just up loading a simple page, test.shtml

Code:

<!--#echo var="DATE_LOCAL" -->

first without then with an htaccess file to enable them manually.

Code:

AddType text/html .shtml
AddHandler server-parsed .shtml
Options Indexes FollowSymLinks Includes

After a couple of minutes my htaccess file was automatically deleted.

I suspect this feature has been disabled.11
