Windows 8 release dates?
Micro$oft have got their best and most reliable O/S with Windows 7 so I can see no other reason other than the mighty dollar for releasing a replacement so quickly.

Of course they haven't got a good track record of developing on time.
So maybe its their wish list to ensure release is within the normal 3 year cycle.
