Linux & CableModem Sharing

Linux has extensive networking capabilities built right into the kernel, you can share your CM connection using IP Masquerading - this is a NAT'ing (See Home Networking for more details) system, and can be enabled using the 'ipchains' tool, this same program also allows to you build protective firewalls for your system.
